We have developed a process that delivers for our clients

Free Discovery Call

We need to understand the position you, your loved one or the patient you are representing are in.

Once we have established and understand more about yours or the person you are representing’s situation and health requirements, we can provide you with the relevant advice on what to do next.

If we identify a matter whereby we can assist, we will provide you with an accurate and detailed quote to progress your case relevant to the part of the CHC process you are in.

Case Preparation

We can manage the whole process on your behalf.

This will involve us obtaining a mixture of the appropriate third party medical records and care home/care agency records and care plans, along with any details you can provide us with to allow us to gain a thorough understanding of the patient both with written documentation and your personal description.

We will also contact the NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB) to update them on our involvement. Once we have a clear understanding of the patient and have determined their health needs, we will feedback on how best to proceed.

NHS Assessment

Following our case preparation, we can arrange for all assessments to take place. This includes liaising with all of the third parties such as care facilities, NHS ICB’s and Social Services to start the process, or we can pick up where you left off if any assessments have already taken place.

Advocacy

If you have requested to have an advocate, we can attend any aspect of the assessment or appeals process either with you or on your behalf.

Appeals

If you have been denied NHS Continuing Healthcare funding following a negative assessment outcome, we can establish the likelihood of success prior to an appeal. We can prepare for and attend appeals at any stage including Local Resolution Panel (LRP) meetings with the local NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB), or with NHS England.

Retrospective Claims Service

Our Retrospective Claims Service can assist with the recovery of fees that have already been paid for care following a successful funding outcome, or started as a new claim if a person has passed away. Retrospective claims can be more complex and time consuming. Full details regarding how the process might work for you can be provided during the discovery call.

Fees

We offer the most cost effective solutions for comparable services.

We will discuss fees during our discovery call to make sure any costs are explained clearly and relevant to the service you require. Our fees will not alter or increase from what we have agreed at the outset regardless of how much work or how long your case takes.
